AirHockey 3D is a very fun air hockey game for Windows. It is entirely made in 3D with good-looking graphics and sound that is not entirely annoying. You can play a variety of game modes and there is also a multiplayer mode that allows you to play with other people over the Internet.
There are three single-player modes and a few more for multiplayer. The classic single-player mode is the game you play at the arcades. A one-on-one game of air hockey. You play against a computer player which can be set to a variety of difficulty levels. The normal difficulty level included in the demo is a good competitor for beginner users. There are two more difficulty levels which are only available in the full version. The difficulty level that I played against was OK. It wasn't dumb but it wasn't too good either. It was easy to score on it, but it scored on me a lot of times as well. It was sneaky too; serving quick after I scored to catch me off guard.
The other single-player modes involve much more than simply shooting the pucks into the goals. In these modes, random bonuses appear on the table. These do a variety of things that make gameplay more fun. For example, there is a bonus that puts several pucks on the table and each one of them will equal a goal if you aren't careful.
I wasn't able to test the multiplayer games because I couldn't find an opponent online.
